Born in Philippines and growing up in New York. I fell in love with Cuba's calm way of life and culture. It had a very nostalgic feel to it, it was my first visit to Cuba but I've never felt so at home in a place I've never been to before.
This lovely woman made me breakfast at the place I was staying in Matanzas and asked to join me for a cubano.
Santa Clara, Cuba
Sometimes I forget how life could be a bit simpler, this trip was a reminder.
This beautiful man let me take his portrait as I was walking the streets of Old Havana. I went to pass by on the same street heading back to the place I was staying, I saw him again, he smiled and waved at me. It felt quite nice.

Wandering the streets of Havana and taking pictures of the beautiful architecture, not until I zoomed in and found the woman in the photo.
Pulled up to La Floridita and had a glass of Daiquiri.
Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the Malecon since I missed the sunset the evening before.
This man was fishing over the Malecon using seaweed for bait, he wanted to show me how his process was. I asked him if I could take his photo and he goes 'Por que no?'
Viñales Valley, Cuba
Cantinero.
During our Viñales horseback riding trip we had a couple of stops, I saw this boy and thought he was so charming and interesting. I asked him for a photo and he gave me this reaction back.
